Monday, April 23, 2012 at 05:02PM Tierralegre A.C. is a nonprofit organization based in La Manzanilla along the “Costalegre”, or southern coast of the state of Jalisco, Mexico.
Our mission:
Tierralegre protects the natural resources and biodiversity of Mexico´s Costalegre.
We focus on the coastal, marine and terrestrial ecosystems of the Tenacatita Bay watershed within the Municipality of La Huerta.
Our vision:
Cultivate a local and global community of sustainability through the creation and implementation of courses, projects and programs that increase ecological literacy and consciousness, build collective and individual capacity and improve the environmental health of the Costalegre ecoregion and the planet.
